Crafting Your Signature Series

​​​​​Embark on a transformative journey in a mentorship tailored for clay and glass artists focused on developing a body of work or product line. While this mentorship is tailored for clay and glass artists, the information and discussions will also apply to a variety of media and all are encouraged to apply. 

 

Guided by Eva Milinkovic and Kris Gene, glass artists and principals of Soffi Studio, participants will delve into the intricacies of crafting a cohesive series, honing skills and refining their artistic vision.

 

Through hands-on sessions, collaborative discussions, and constructive critique, artists will channel their creativity toward the creation of a small series with the objective of launching a distinctive product line. This comprehensive course will cover all aspects of developing a product line, including marketing, sales strategies, packaging design, identifying target markets, and optimizing production processes.

Interested artists are asked to submit their artist statements, CV and 10 images of their work for Kris and Eva to review. 

​

 

  Application Deadline: Monday, September 30, 5 p.m.

​

 

Artists will be notified by email by October 8 if they have been chosen to participate.

Soffi Studio

​Founded by husband and wife team Kris Gene and Eva Milinkovic in 2004, Soffi began as the decorative glass firm Tsunami Glassworks, with the aim of delivering to the world’s best interior designers and architects, unique, luxurious, contemporary glass sculpture and décor.

​

In 2020, Tsunami became Soffi Studio, merging with its lighting division Soffi Lighting. Taking their extensive experience in metal and glass design fabrication, Soffi was born to provide its clientele with spectacular, bespoke artwork and design solutions in metal, glass and lighting. Soffi’s dedicated design and fabrication team work with interior designers and art consultants from around the world; creating sculpture and décor primarily for commercial, hospitality and residential projects.
