2024 CLAY & GLASS SHOW: CELEBRATE THE
ARTFUL TABLE

FUSION has partnered with the Gardiner Shop and is planning a POP-UP CLAY AND GLASS SHOW from Sunday, November 17 to Monday, November 18, 2024 in the Terrace Room at the Gardiner Museum.

After many years of the artist booth format, this FUSION 50 pop-up Clay&Glass show will mix things up!  Read carefully, as the entire format of the show has changed:

The theme for this year's show is CELEBRATE THE ARTFUL TABLE,  also known as LA MESA.  The theme of The Artful Table has been inspired by La Mesa Table at NCECA and the Gardiner Museum's interpretation of a late 18th-century dessert table inspired by a dinner with the Bishop of Norwich in 1783 and featured 20 dessert dishes. The table at the Gardiner was recreated by culinary historian Ivan Day.

Instead of individual artist booths, there will be one large dining table featuring work from many artists: We are looking for applications of functional work: plate-settings, pedestals, serving pieces, bowls, candlesticks, vessels, drinking cups and more - all will be featured on and sold from the large ARTFUL TABLE -  made by clay and glass artists and FUSION members.

There will also be a limited number of sculptural pieces accepted that will be displayed on the periphery of the space on plinths.

The application for artists to apply to the show is now open! â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹
